TASK AND SOLUTION
The customer needed various types of tasks completed on the drilling rig.
Therefore, we were responsible for securing the rig against fallen objects and cleaning the derrick with a high-pressure cleaner. Additionally, we made new improvements to the lifeboat launch area.
The task also included welding work, surface treatment and dismantling of various installations that were no longer in use. Finally, we carried out an inspection of the drilling rig.
DURATION
The task took place in 2014.
The task for Maersk Gallant is a good example of how rope access is a flexible method that enables many different types of work tasks at height.
